27th Septmber2013

Just a short addition to state of the past few weeks, firstly the 15mm Teutonic's are now all in moulds and a release will be posted to all next week and the site will have pics of the miniatures, also the 20mm Australians in greatcoats are rolling of the production line as well.  I'm excited as we have just moulded our new release of 15mm Naps, some are variants for the Jagers but some new Spanish line( grenadiers to follow) are something really special so watch this space for previews in the next week.

The free rules we placed at the beginning of the week are getting a really great response, once again more are planned as well as some helpful rule additions we use to help add a little period flavour to the rules we enjoy, I hope you see them and they inspire you to use them or even make your own?

Well this is the end of a very busy week, we are stocked up loaded in the van and ready to roll tomorrow at a very unhealthy 5am in the morning to go to Derby, I hope some of you will be there and pick up some more miniatures from us, or at least pop along and have a chat, see you at the show

15th September 2013

After a very busy week we are just putting on line our New 15mm Teutonic Knights and our New 20mm WW2 New Zealanders in Greatcoats, I'm in the middle of painting a few units of the Teutonic's and hopefully pictures will be up in a few weeks. At the moment I'm painting some large 7yrs WAR ARMIES which is very lucky for me as I can mix in some of my Austrian 7yrs War Army at the same time, some pics of Grenze and Kuirassier on line soon.

Derby is fast flashing forward and busy getting stock up to scratch so if you want any Standard packs or any of our Army packs let me know and we will ensure they are ready for you on the day(s)

Also a new addition in the next week will be the addition of some more free rules by my good friend Dave Wareham, some WW2, Napoleonic and AWI, I'm hoping to convince him to write some new scenarios and Army lists etc to coincide with the new ranges next year.  Along with the free rules we are hoping to have some in house mods we use when playing some of the more popular rules, so watch this space - or at least the free rules section.

Finally thanks for the continuing support from everyone, over the next few months we will be releasing more 15mm Napoleonic's, 7yrs War and our addition to our 19th Century Asia range Tibetans, plus some more 25mm Medieval and some 20mm Indian WW2 troops in Greatcoat as requested by people this year, and to that end any suggestions for additions to ranges etc please drop me an e mail we are always planning, I will let you into the new ranges and additions for next year in November

Well its been a long time  so I have a lot to catch up, first an apology for missing the Border Reivers show in Newcastle on the 31st August,  due to circumstances out of my control the van wasn't delivered and it was too late to get another, we managed to get another for the Sunday show in Newark. By all reports the show in Newcastle was a great turn out a well supported show all credit to Rob, I will be there next year as its my home town I was gutted not being there so very sorry.

As you will have noticed our website had some issues but they are resolved and we are pushing on with our new figures.

Out in the next week is the first release of Teutonic knights with a few add on codes later in the following few months, we have also done Anzacs for our WW2 range in greatcoat as requested and these are also available in the next weeks.

A preview of the next up and coming bits are 19th Century Tibetan, and Early Crusader, lots of peasants, priests and knights all hopefully before November.

Thanks for the support of the recent sale its nice to chat re what your interested in and what your painting and planning, I always like to here suggestions, some of these are Sikh wars and other Indian enemies and more British to fight these earlier enemies, a serious contender for next year as we complete the Indian Mutiny range. But don't panic we are adding some of the bits we didn't do  over the next few months - Crimean British Generals and Horse Artillery crew plus Crimean cannon, more naps and 7 yrs. war plus cavalry commands for the  Marlburian and ECW, once again any suggestions drop me an e mail or come for a chat at the shows

On to wargaming my attention has been diverted to one of my favourite periods 7 Years war, I am painting the armies for Kolin, I like to paint to a battle and Kolin is a battle I love to read about, I've already painted around 20 units of foot plus cav and Art, having a temporary stay while I paint some Austrians, got 5 units of grenze done and some Austrian Artillery soon to be on the site. The inspiration is a Seven year war campaign and for those who would like to follow it or just like black powder( those are the rules we are using for the battles) I think you will find it interesting, there are pics of the first battle of the campaign it was between the Swedes and the Russians( ME!) and you can follow my victory  and the other battles and watch the map change the url is http://enduringarguments.blogspot.co.uk/ The Enduring Arguments of Kings

That's about it just back from Newark and tired but I think I have just enough time before I call it a night to be side tracked into stating some Teutonic knights I do think they look good, eeeek so many figures so little time.

I will blog again soon now Ive started I will promise at least once a week to pass on some of the gossip on the campaign, plans for new figures. releases and more,

18th February 2012

Hi guys just been really busy thanks for all the support, the news is we have our first batch of new figures online some of you will have received an e mail with pictures an a list or check out the preview section on the site, the second batch which will include 15mm Revolutionary French, Austrian and Prussians will be a the end of March.

Also after a long wait we have our restock of FoB2 arriving this week - thanks to all being patient Brent has had servere printing problems, but the really good news is the Scenario book for Piquet - Blunders on the Danube a set of 1809 scenarios is also on its way and Im particularly excited about that.

On the wargame front I am concentrating on Dark ages 15mm, long been interested but now inspired by Piquet and Hail Ceasar I am buiilding 3 armies ( Saxon, Norman and Viking) I will be posting some pictures soon. The figures are basically 4 bases to a unit, burt I wanted to give a shield wall effect so I have increased the number of figures on a base to 8 - 10 foot figures and the depth increased to show an interlocking front with some not so brave guys standing off at the back, the Norman Cavalry are 4 bases of 5 figures per base, they look grat pictures soon.

Thats it for now see you at WMMMs in March
